What a week for Luke...
we found out his documentary short is scheduled to screen at two more film festivals and he got his report card: all "A" s ...again!

We are so incredibly proud!!! Luke's a hard working kiddo!!

Luke's documentary short,"Michael," was shown at an all-school event this month at The Orchard School (+600 students). Luke was warmly welcomed by Head of School Mr. Marshall and he enjoyed introducing his movie and answering questions afterward. Luke is so excited that his documentary is being seen by so many students.
FIVE local schools are showing "Michael"to their students.

This is exactly what Luke envisioned. How exciting!

Luke's documentary "Michael" was was shown to his elementary school via Wolf TV during their "Everybody Counts" program this month. Michael was on hand to be introduced and both boys were given the honor of counting down to "tip-off" for a special BB game of "teachers vs a local wheelchair BB team". Luke was so delighted to have his movie shown in his own school; all the staff and volunteers were incredible.

A filmmakers Christmas… the shirt says it all!

Luke’s also thrilled about a special gift from his grampa ...
a remote controlled helicopter that records digital video!!!
Luke already has plans in his mind for using it to film scenes
in his next two film projects.

St. Lukes United Methodist church highlighted Luke’s documentary “Michael” during their church services this past weekend. It is Michael’s home church (the documentary had been shown weeks ago during the children's service). Both boys attended this both services this weekend and were interviewed by Rev. Kent Millard. Michael said several times “I’m so honored to be here.”

Truly... what an honor and delight to see this heartfelt documentary shared with so many.

A busy schedule ahead...
Three local schools will be showing Luke's documentary, "Michael," early 2011 as part of their "Everybody Counts" school program.
Luke and Michael will be attending one of these in February to speak directly to the students. What a cool experience for both of them ...and quite an honor.

Additionally,
we were notified Luke has been nominated for an award to be given out in March by the Cerebral Palsy Association.
More info on that to come...
